1967 Chevrolet C10
1967 Chevrolet C10 Pickup
The 1967-72 Chevrolet line of pickups is widely considered one of the best looking series ever produced. This truck is taken to the next level as a restomod version of the workhorse classic. This is the first year for that style and it leaves a lot of what people love about them untouched.
Why This Car Is Special
Custom body modification, interior and color combination make this C10 a step above most. Modern touches inside and out bring this 60s truck into the twenty first century and provide the creature comforts we all desire.
Mechanical
The 350 engine has a Street Dominator intake with a Holley 4-barrel carburetor with electric choke, full length headers, an HEI distributor and flex fan. The engine compartment is highly detailed with a black Chevrolet air cleaner and valve cover kit, chrome dipsticks and many painted components that add a show quality feeling. The pieces painted to match the truck include: radiator support, radiator sides, fan shroud, inner fenders, radiator support, master cylinder, hood hinges, blower motor cover and the HEI Cap. The V8 puts power through a Turbo 350 automatic transmission and out to a strong 12 bolt in the rear.
Interior
Modern custom bucket seats wrapped in black leather look great and are very comfortable. Custom leather wrapped door panels match the seats and the custom stitched dash pad. The custom gauge bezel is filled with Omega Kustom Instruments gauges behind the painted steering column and billet steering wheel. A pop out touch screen AM/FM/CD player provides the tunes and tucks nicely into the head unit when not in use. A custom center console with cup holders and a B&M shifter top off the interior with a clean look and performance you can trust.
Exterior
The modern feel of the interior is carried to the exterior with 20” Ridler wheels wrapped in 275/40ZR20 tires. A roll pan smooths out the rear of the truck and LED lights all around give not only a modern and clean look, but also add safety by enhancing your visibility. LED halo headlights with Halogen bulbs in the front and full LED taillights in the rear are nicely done and maintain the factory shape and size, as to not detract from the beloved stock lines. A steel cowl hood has been added for a hint at the performance under the hood and the entire truck is painted in a stunning Classic Copper Metallic paint, including in the bed. The factory fuel filler hole has been filled with metal and done very well. You can't tell it was ever there. Now the fuel goes in a custom Bowtie door in the floor of the bed. This not only gives the truck another talking point at shows but moves the fuel tank from inside the cab (behind the seat) to under the bed of the truck. An upgrade everyone can appreciate for safety and the fumes after a fill up.
Conclusion
1967-1972 C10 pickups are incredibly hot right now and have climbed in value steadily the last few years. They are a great investment when they are in good shape, and this one certainly is. Drive it, enjoy it, show it and make it your own! This truck won't last long at this price.
