A period correct 396 CID V8 engine is nestled between the fenders and is built with a Holley double pumper carburetor resting on a Moroso carburetor spacer. That fuel delivery setup is bolted to an Edlebrock aluminum Performer intake. Exhaust duties are handled by long tube headers running to dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The exhaust note is pure 70s muscle car and is sure to garner lots of attention from anyone within earshot of this powerhouse. Subframe connectors stiffen the chassis and traction bars help put all that power to the ground out back. A driveshaft safety hoop has been installed for added safety and ties everything together nicely. The power from that big block Chevy engine is routed through a close ratio 4-speed manual transmission to keep you in control. A quick ratio steering box and front disc brakes make sure this muscle car steers and stops as well as it gets up and goes! Not only is this engine built for power and dependability, the engine and engine compartment have been professionally detailed. So, the show quality looks continue under the hood as well.
Interior
Black vinyl bucket seats not only look great but are also very comfortable. The seat covers, carpet and headliner are all new. The woodgrain instrument bezel adds a touch of sophistication, but the SS steering wheel and Hurst shifter with white shift knob bring you right back to reality. You are in a muscle car, plain and simple. The trunk is clean and simple and includes a spare tire and jack.
Exterior
The exterior restoration was just completed and finished with a high gloss Hugger Orange paint job with black rally stripes. This car looks good from every angle with its American Racing alloy wheels, one-year only spoiler, and new bumpers. The weather stripping and windshield are also new.
