1966 Ford Mustang 327 Stroker V8
Why This Car Is Special
The introduction of the Mustang in 1964 created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang's styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition including Camaro, Firebird, Cougar and others.
The 1966 Mustang 327 Stroker V8 at Skyway Classics is a modified example of those cars. This Mustang is extremely nice as it looks like a completely restored Mustang, from top to bottom, with many upgrades.
Mechanical Specs
This Mustang has a lot more power than any stock one you may be looking at as it has a modified 327 Stroker small block Ford V8 engine with 327 cubic Inches with additions of the performance carb, chrome air cleaner and valve covers with “327 Stroker” on them so there is no doubt when you see this engine as to what it is, performance radiator, performance distributor with Accel coil and ignition system, long tube headers and a dual exhaust with performance mufflers, air conditioning, and sitting in a perfect detailed engine bay.
Interior
The 1966 Mustang has a beautiful vibrant red interior with great twin front bucket seats and matching rear seat, matching red door panels and headliner, matching red carpet, great looking wood steering wheel, black Mustang logo floor mats, black trim on its instrument panel, correct factory gauges, and an aftermarket stereo radio system.
Exterior
This 1966 is painted in a beautiful shade of dark blue with white dual racing stripes from the hood, over the roof, and on the trunk to the bottom of the roll pan.
It has great chrome and trim as well as shiny front and rear chrome bumpers, the glass and weather stripping is great too. The Mustang rides on mag wheels and performance tires to give it the right stance.
