1967 Chevrolet Nova SS
Why This Car Is Special
This completely restored 1967 Chevrolet SS Nova we have here at Skyway Classics (as verified to be a real SS by the Trim Tag showing it as a #18 in the Vin code which is a Chevy II Nova SS with the V8 engine) that is a true SS in this world of clones and copies!
Our Chevy II has the 327 cubic inch small block Chevrolet engine, great paint, and a wicked sound and stance with the custom wheels too.
Mechanical
Chevrolet was smart enough to put a V8 engine in these cars which gave them a good power-to-weight ratio and they were a fast little muscle car. The 1967 Chevrolet II here is a perfect example of the with the 327 engine and some performance updates like the aluminum intake and Holley performance carb with electric choke, round tube headers, performance plumbing, factory orange paint on the block, chrome valve covers, chrome open-element air cleaner assembly, power steering and brakes, aluminum radiator, chrome shock towers, remote oil dipstick, and all sitting in a spotless and detailed engine compartment.
The 327 engine is backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear end, dual exhaust system with turbo type mufflers, all riding on custom 5-spoke polished mag wheels on black wall tires.
Interior
Our Duece has a really nice looking new black with white piping vinyl interior with twin buckets up front and matching rea seat, just like it left the factory along with the black dash, factory gauges plus accessory performance gauges and tach, Chevrolet Logo aftermarket stereo radio system, black SS three spoke steering wheel, matching door panels, Nova SS floor mats, and a factory center console and chrome automatic shifter.
Exterior
The 1967 gets a sweet looking dark grey paint scheme that looks great with its black-accented anodized aluminum grille, SS emblems, cross-flag engine emblems, great chrome bumpers front and rear, tinted windows, and trim. It sounds great and runs as great as it looks since it has had so many updates with the restoration.
Conclusion
The real 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS that we have here at Skyway Classics is a very original example of those pocket-rockets of 1967. It is very fast due to its engine size and very light weight and looks better than it did when it was brand new.
If you want a great example of the SS Chevy II, this one is for you.
